The TroiseRatio© is a mathematical calculation to determine the rate of return one would need to make up for the losses incurred during the selloff of The Great Recession. The ratio was developed in Senior Portfolio Manager Frank Troise's 2009 investment letter "Expectational Bankruptcy" which highlighted the significant financial problem for retiring Baby Boomers.
